1. Cancellation by the Operator

Flights may be cancelled for the following reasons:

• Weather conditions
• Decision of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA/SHGM)
• Flight safety requirements
• Technical necessities

In this case, the customer is offered the following options:

• Full refund of the fee
• Free postponement to an alternative date subject to availability
• Optional voucher for future use

2. Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail or official communication channels.

3. Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 15/1-g of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts related to accommodation, transportation, car rental, food and beverage, entertainment, or leisure organizations that must be performed on a specific date or period.

Since a hot air balloon flight is an organization service for a specific date, the general right of withdrawal does not apply after purchase.

4. Refund Process

• Refunds are made through the original payment method.
• The transaction period may take 7–14 business days depending on the bank.
• The company is not responsible for exchange rate differences, bank commissions, or transaction fees.

5. Rescheduling

• Reservations may be rescheduled free of charge, subject to availability, provided that notice is given at least 48 hours before the flight time.
• Change requests made less than 48 hours before the flight may not be accepted.

6. Health and Safety Related Cancellations

No refund is made if the passenger does not meet the required health conditions for flight participation or provides a false declaration.

7. Force Majeure

No compensation may be claimed for cancellations caused by weather conditions, official authority decisions, natural disasters, pandemics, transportation obstacles, or extraordinary circumstances beyond the company’s control.

2. Nature of the Service

Our company provides hot air balloon flight organization services in the Cappadocia region in accordance with the regulations of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA/SHGM).

All flights are subject to;

• SHGM approval,
• Meteorological conditions,
• Flight safety rules

3. Reservation and Payment

• Reservations are made through the online system or authorized communication channels.
• Unless otherwise stated, full payment or the determined deposit is collected during reservation.
• Payment is carried out using the 3D Secure security system.
• The cardholder confirms that they are authorized to make the payment.
• The reservation becomes final once the payment is approved.
• Our company reserves the right to cancel fraudulent, suspicious, or risky transactions.

4. Flight Operations

• Flights are operated at sunrise.
• Flight duration may vary between approximately 45–75 minutes.
• For safety reasons, flight duration and landing point may vary.
• Our company reserves the right to operate flights with licensed business partners.

5. Transfer Service

• Free transfer is provided within designated areas.
• Pickup times are approximate and may vary depending on operational conditions.
• Transfer delays are considered within the scope of force majeure.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers agree;

• to comply with pilot and crew instructions,
• to accurately declare their health conditions and pregnancy status,
• to observe safety rules,
• not to carry prohibited items

The company is not responsible for risks arising from incorrect or incomplete declarations.

7. Safety Restrictions

The right to refuse flight participation is reserved in the following cases:

• Pregnant passengers
• Passengers with serious heart, back, or neck conditions
• Health conditions that may create a safety risk
• Children who do not meet the minimum age or height criteria
• Weight restrictions may apply. Additional arrangements may be made for operational safety.

8. Personal Belongings

Our company is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the flight.

9. Cancellation and Force Majeure

Flights may be cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions, official authority decisions, technical necessities, or force majeure events.

Cancellation and refund conditions are applied within the scope of the separately published Cancellation and Refund Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our company is not responsible for delays or cancellations that may occur due to;

• Weather conditions
• Official authority decisions
• Force majeure events
• Passenger-related violations

All content, trademarks, logos, images, and texts on the website belong to Göktürk Ballooning. They may not be used without written permission.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

Nevşehir Courts and Enforcement Offices are authorized in disputes.
